As promised, here is my sleep report.
This page doesn’t show my apnea scores. I’ll get more info from Dr. Garside on this because I neglected to ask him for them.

Well, the results of my recent sleep study are back. Though I felt I slept rather peacefully that night, my doctor says I have sleep apnea. I’ve got the mildest case, apparently, but its there.
My options now are
Would it help if Raleigh renamed its water source Rises Lake?
Among the many, many things Kelly and I accomplished today for moving is crafting a flyer and website for our home. I just finished the website, GreatRaleighHome.com, and posted an ad on Craigslist. Tomorrow we’ll put the sign in the yard and figure out where other signs might be needed.
Once again, if you know of anyone needing a fantastic house, send ’em my way!
Yesterday, I met our mailman when he delivered a package.
“You moving?” he asked, squinting at the PODS container behind me.
“Yup.”
“I do real estate, too,” he replied nonchalantly.
Of course he does! It seems everyone and their brother is in real estate. More than one neighbor is. Even the train driver! Swing a stick and you’ll hit five real estate people.
And they all want to list the house. How come no one ever knows potential buyers?
We’ve been packing boxes in the evenings until our garage was filled to the ceiling with them. Even so, our upcoming move was still not quite tangible until this morning when we got our PODS storage container delivered. Within fifteen minutes, a driver had delivered our container and expertly positioned it on our driveway. It was quite entertaining to watch the whole process.

Have I mentioned how I love listening to Weekly Radio Address each week? That’s the home of the “official parody” of George W. Bush’s real radio address. It’s also scathingly funny.
Check out this week’s address on signing statements. You know its exactly what the real Bush is thinking.
Hallie and I saw an unusual construction truck while we were on the way to her school yesterday. A large F150 pickup truck was pulling a long trailer stacked with thick styrofoam boxes. I could tell the boxes didn’t weigh much so I wondered what was in them.
Once I read the truck’s logo I had a better idea of what it was hauling. Home Energy, Inc.. was on the way to install one of their energy-efficient heating and cooling systems. Home Energy sells solar water heating systems as well as Earthlinked geothermal heating and cooling systems for homes.

I went for another pre-dawn walk today, passing a crowd of neighborhood high-schoolers waiting for the bus when a thought occurred to me: where are these kids going to find jobs?
Why was this even a question? I don’t know why I should be concerned but I am. There was never any question for me that I would find good employment but I could not help but feel pessimistic about these kids’ opportunities.
If I was a kid on the verge of entering this job market, my choices would be frighteningly few indeed. I feel for them.
Got to Hallie’s school early so I could drop her off right when the carpool lane opened, took a left out of the lot and navigated my way up East Street through Oakwood to snag a free parking space, and then smirked as I passed the pay parking lot, arriving at the office right on time.
I love it when a plan comes together.
