Brad Cooper indicted

Brad Cooper was indicted today by a Wake County jury and arrested for the death of his wife, Nancy Cooper.

“This has really never been the case about a jogger being randomly attacked,” said Cary Police Chief Pat Bazemore. “It has been a case of domestic violence of the very worst kind.”

I gave Brad the benefit of the doubt and in the eyes of the law he’s still considered innocent, but things aren’t looking good for him. In the vast majority of these cases its the husband whose guilty. This may be no different.

Downtown hawk

Just looked out and saw a huge hawk sitting on the top of the Raleigh Times building. I’m used to seeing hawks near woods but this is the first I’ve seen downtown.

It was bigger than any other hawk I’ve seen. Didn’t seem to be a red-shouldered hawk or a Cooper’s hawk. I’ve got to check my bird book.

Obama returning to Raleigh Wednesday

Presidential hopeful Barack Obama will make another appearance in Raleigh Wednesday morning.

Never in my time in North Carolina have I ever seen so much presidential campaigning here. Its truly amazing.

This Wednesday, October 29th, please join Barack Obama in Raleigh, where he will talk about his vision for creating the kind of change we need.

No dancing today

There have been days recently where I’ve felt like dancing down the sidewalk.

Today is not one of those days.
