There was no time for blogging last night because I was way too happy catching up with my newly-reunited family. There were plenty of smiles and dances shared once I got home. Hurray!
Remote Viewing, Day Two
I just posted a long recap of today’s RV class. I didn’t have the kind of success as yesterday, but it was interesting nevertheless.
Back to reality for the rest of the week. Kelly, Hallie and Travis should be home when I get home from work tomorrow. Boy, I can’t wait to see them!
Remote Viewing Results In Gallery
I’ve posted my successes and failures in a new remote viewing gallery.
I decided last night that remote viewing is like geocaching except you leave the GPS and maps at home and just use your noggin. In fact, your noggin stays at home, too. Think of it as extremely lazy geocaching. 🙂
I also posted more details at Mindblogging.com, as usual.
Now its off for our last day’s sessions. See you in the afternoon.
First Day As A Remote Viewer
I’m beat, but I learned to do something new today. Read about my exciting first day as a remote viewer.
Joe McMoneagle’s Remote Viewing Talk
I spent the evening at the Rhine Research Center listening to world-famous remote viewer Joe McMoneagle discuss the origins of his craft. He spoke to a packed house, who seemed to hang on every word. I know I did.

Another Reason To Thank The Unions
Finally a way has been found to close those ugly Wal-Mart stores.
I wonder if the local unions need volunteers?

Familiar Moves
I did two things this weekend that I hadn’t done in a while. I picked up my guitar and spent a few hours learning new songs. It felt good to have my fingertips toughen up again, though I’m still a little rusty.
Then talk about rusty! My neighbor was out shooting baskets at his house, so I wandered over and played some one-on-one and Horse. He won both times, but they were very close games. It was good exercise, though, and I felt fantastic the rest of the day. Gotta make exercise a regular thing.
Chemicals everywhere!
Getting dressed in my groggy state this morning, it occured to me just how many chemicals are in our lives. Our bodies are practically swimming in chemicals. That’s gotta have an effect on the body.
Centenarians walking among us are always asked “what’s the secret to long life?” I wonder if part of their secret is avoiding the chemical bombardment present in everyday products. Of course there’s no real alternative, unless you’re willing to grow your own food (with organic fertilizer), distill your own water (well water is polluted, too), and generally be paranoid about the things you come in contact with.
Ah, life in modern society. Our breastfed son Travis doesn’t know how good he has it. 🙂
Busy Week
It’s a busy week for me, so blogging takes a back seat for the time being. Thursday night, I speak about cool open-source virtual machines at the Triangle Linux Users Group‘s meeting. It should be a fun talk!
Friday evening I head to Derm for the start of my weekend-long course in remote viewing taught by Joe McMoneagle. I don’t know what to expect, but I’ve got an open mind and I’m sure I’ll have fun.
Next week will seem positively boring comparatively.
