On the way back from the mountains, I spotted a few unusual billboards along the I-40 corridor near Greensboro. The billboard said “Do you know Linux? We’re Hiring!” HostGator, a hosting provider, is the advertiser. Apparently they have advertisements in a few other high-tech cities.

Wish I’d gotten a picture. It marked the first time I’ve ever seen the word “Linux” on a billboard.
