I don’t know exactly what I’d do with this but I’ve always wanted one and it looks cool.

From Craigslist:

We have a Will-Burt Pneumatic antenna mast to be sold. This is a working unit and is currently installed in a 1987 Ford van. This mast is one of the ‘heavy duty models’ designed to handle approximately 100 pounds and extends to about 55 feet. This unit includes the compressor that operates on vehicle or external power. This size unit currently sells by Will-Burt distributors for approximately $12,000.00 with the pump at an additional $1500.00. This is the link to their site showing the current models http://towermast.willburt.com/vmHDNLM.asp
We are selling the mast assembly, with it we include the van. The van runs very well and can easily be used with the mast so you would save any additional costs of installation in another vehicle. This vehicle would make a great HAM Radio Club vehicle for shows, hamfests and other events where it is desirable to get an antenna up high above the surrounding area. This unit could also be used for raising a video camera high for viewing the surrounding area. It could also be used for raising advertising and information banners for local events where temporary signs may not be seen but needed. You could easily raise a small speaker array for a large group event. There are many uses possible for this equipment including the possible renting out. You can remove the mast from the current vehicle for your own installation if desired. Please feel free to call with any questions and/or for additional information or to arrange to see and test this unit. If desired we can email you the data sheets for the mast and any other pictures that you might want to see for evaluation.
The asking price is $5900, but we are open to reasonable offers. The numbers to call are 757-484-5960 or 757-285-4504 (cell)
