Donate computers to the Kramden Institute

I spent my lunch break gathering up old computers and parts I’ve been meaning to recycle for months now. I piled the back of the minivan high with this gear and drove over to the Kramden Institute in RTP to donate it all. Folks there were very friendly and appreciative of the gift. Thanks to my donations, two families will have nice computers that wouldn’t otherwise have them. Kids will be able to write papers, do research, and build their own ugly MySpace pages thanks to my gift.

It makes me happy knowing the boxes I’ve long been tripping over can do someone else some good. Since I do a lot of my computer experimentation in virtualized machines I won’t even miss them.

If you’ve got computers, money, or time that you’d like to donate, give the Kramden Institute a call. Help get computers to needy families. You’ll be glad you did.

  1. I was interested in this but cautious. My suspicions appeared to be well-founded. They are going out of their way to make it easier for illegal aliens to live here cheaply. Coming up with Spanish-language user manuals is a sure giveaway.

I’d honestly rather throw my computer parts out into a landfill than have them support a family of criminals.

  2. Wow. What can one say to that? All Spanish speaking people are criminals, I tell you! What fills someone with such ignorant hatred?
