Our family would’ve gotten coverage from this insurance provider when I worked at that Annapolis-based open-source network monitoring company but we were not Maryland residents. I guess we were lucky, considering the way they treat their customers.

  1. There’s a difference between health care and how it’s paid for. We may disagree about the latter but health care, the actual work of healing, is probably the best in the world. Of course, paying for it is another situation.

  2. They go hand in hand, and insurance typically drives what procedures can be done. It’s a mess.

Yes, the science and technology we have here is arguably the best. The question is, who can afford it?

  3. I guess it is a question of who do we want deciding our care for us, health insurance providers or the all knowing US Government.
