You know what’s cool? In the time it normally takes me to walk the five blocks to my free parking place, today I biked all the way home. It was mostly downhill from downtown, too, which made it a much more pleasant ride.
Tomorrow promises to be a sunny day so I think I’ll try it again.

Don’t laugh, at least not yet. You’ll get nearly 100 mpg and you can legally park anywhere you can park a bike. Plus you don’t need to plate the thing as it is under 50cc. This would make a great little commuter for the downtown resident on days when biking just doesn’t, for whatever reason, seem desirable. You also have some storage under the seat and you can put a top case on the back for your backpack if you so desire.
Oh, no. I’m not laughing at all. I’ve been drooling over just such a scooter for months now, but a Longbo model. Once we sell the old house and get a little money socked away I will go shopping.
