In light of the cocaine plane incident, and yesterday’s word that Mitchell Wade has been fined $1 million by the Federal Election Commission for allegedly bribing Randy “Duke” Cunningham, I’ve got to ask again what’s going on. Wade was tight with Kyle “Dusty” Foggo a top CIA executive; and Brent Wilkes, a former CIA officer; thus Wade’s business dealings are suspect.
Why, again, was the CIA caught essentially compromising crooked politicians like Cunningham? This is a stunt our intelligence officers usually pull on the bad guys.
Where does this trail ultimately lead, and is there anyone brave enough to follow it? Who else may have been compromised? I feel we’re only one Deep Throat away from uncovering massive corruption here, possibly far more extensive than Watergate ever was.
…and the Attorney General will prosecute? I really don’t know if anyone in this government is independent enough. The only explanation that makes any sense is that some one has a very large collection of pictures.
