The Rodger Koopman for City Council campaign, of which I am a part, will be canvassing neighborhoods this weekend and are looking for volunteers to help. We’re starting at 9AM and working neighborhoods in North Raleigh.
In addition, Kelly and I will be hosting a Meet and Greet for Rodger Koopman this evening at our home from 5:30 to 7. Hope to see you there!
His platform page seems to be ambiguous. There doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of explanation of what specifically he wants to do, or how he plans to achieve it.
The one thing that he seems to be specific about is impact fees on developers to have the source of growth pay for the increased impact on the city resources.
He doesn’t mention anything about the current environmental disaster that the city council is perpetuating with regards to the city sewage treatment plants being responsible for dumping more nitrogen into the Neuse than all of the other towns in Wake County combined. What is he going to do about that, specifically, and how will he pay for it?
