Toxic Chemical Found In U.S. Toothpaste

Following news that toothpaste from China has been found to contain diethylene glycol, a common ingredient of antifreeze, FDA inspectors discovered traces of a toxic chemical in U.S. manufactured toothpaste.

“Nearly every sample tested was found to contain traces of the toxic chemical fluoride,” the FDA spokesperson said.

No recalls have been announced.

Our trading partners need to be held to the same safety standards as US companies, and Chinese food imports should be halted (much as they halted imports of our beef products) until we can be sure this has been straightened out.

It’s all for me blog, me holly jolly blog.
