AT&T DSL for $10/month!

BoingBoing pointed out the secret deal where one can get DSL service from AT&T for $10/month.

BoingBoing’s Cory Doctorow says AT&T is evil and doesn’t deserve your business. I say that’s precisely the reason everyone should sign up. At $10/month, AT&T must surely lose money on every line. Therefore, sign up as many of your friends and family as you can!

Bellsouth: Bellsouth FastAccess DSL Term Agreement Plans Available

  1. I met a guy from Earthlink at a conference last week and he was telling me that they are offering naked DSL in a lot of places now. It looks like I can get it. However, somehow I accidentally tied my fantasy baseball team to my Verizon account, so I’m stuck with Verizon until baseball season is over, or until my team is out of the championship race, whatever comes first. Then we’ll be landline free.

  2. I would love to do this, but I need a DSL modem. Do you know anywhere that I can find a cheap DSL modem? Bellsouth/AT&T wants $75 for one of theirs, but I am too cheap to pay that.
