This morning, I was thrilled to see grass sprouts all in the yard. Looks like the seed is germinating!
I’m off to Lowe’s again today to return the puny sprinklers I bought and buy the “cannon” sprinklers instead. They cost three times as much, but they cover more yard with less hassle. Moral: Good sprinklers are worth the price.
werd on the sprinklers. I made the same mistake a few years ago and they lasted about 2 months.
I’m taking two of the cheap sprinkers back today. Both of them were dead on arrival!
I’m trading them for another two Gilmour extra-large impact sprinkers.

I just bought this thing for my yard and new seed (watering just under 1 acre) and it is like a freakin’ flame thrower. Good times.

I looked for that model in two or three stores but couldn’t find it. The one I linked to above has the same sprinkler head, but it’s a shorty.
The same day (Wednesday) that they were putting herbicide on the lawn to kill the grass (annual lawn scalping) the word on my “The Word Origin Calendar” was Agent Orange!!!
