On the heels of what was Tropical Storm (and briefly Hurricane) Humberto, Tropical Storm Ingrid is now churning towards North Carolina. My guess is that Ingrid will turn north before getting to us, but I Am Not A Meterologist (IANAM). I sure wouldn’t complain if Ingrid stopped by just long enough to dump a bunch more rain on us, though.
All this rain is fantastic. Bring it!
According to the new weather station we got .25 inch out here at the lake. It didn’t rain heavily until I tried to watch Flash Gordon on the satellite when it put the thing into “searching for signal” mode. We really needed the rain and it wasn’t like I was really missing much. 🙂
Hey, maybe we can call for a Flash Gordon weekly marathon whenever it gets dry!
I’ve somehow managed to sit through every episode so far but I don’t understand how. I still can’t believe that SciFi Channel thought it was worth killing Farscape to bring us more shows like Flash Gordon.
I Love Farscape. Claudia Black almost revived the sick version of stargate they had on… along with Morena Bacarin (form firefly and serenity); but, farscape was much better.
Isn’t it interesting that the great series tend to not be network darlings.
