1. I love this:

“So far, no link has been established between human endocrine disorders and exposure to flame retardants. However, “there is growing concern,” the scientists wrote.”

It reminds me of the “Far Side” where there is this obvious bear with a penguin mask strapped on in the middle of a bunch of penguins and one of the penguins is speculating that something strange is going on as all his friends are disappearing.

Let’s see, what else could it be? I know it is the “lack of fires”. Cats that die in fires don’t have as much hyperthyroidism. Some other chemical that we have not found yet. This thought makes me feel good, NOT.

There was a story a couple of years ago about human hormones showing up all over the place because they are 1) not completely processed by the body, 2) not removed from the environment by waste water treatment, 3) not cleaned by the environment naturally, 4) sometimes just plain flushed by someone who wants to get rid of them.

Wait until we get nano-particles circulating…
