Today Is Meet The Pack Day

Today is Meet The Pack Day, where the Wolfpack has autograph sessions and then an open practice at Carter-Finley Stadium.

I’m hoping we can make it out there to see the activities. I’m really pumped about N.C. State’s upcoming football season. Meet The Pack Day is a great time to take photos of the team’s stars, which is the main reason I’m interested in going. Some of these players are destined for greatness, and it may be a while before I get a chance to snap pictures of them again.

Only twenty days left before the season opener. Go Pack!

  1. I left Jeff’s around 4PM to go to Carter-Finley. I was hoping to get into the autograph session from 3-4:30 but arrived too late.

I sat on the 40 yard line, front row, while the team practiced. It rained the whole time I was there, but that didn’t stop the few thousand people who showed up to see the team.

I was sitting behind the Gatorade stand, so during breaks half the players would be right in front of me. I took some great shots of T.A., Tremaine, and Davonte Edwards.

Look out for Tremaine, he’s gonna absolutely SMOKE some people. Also, Richard Washington looked fantastic – he outran everyone and made some great catches. It’s going to be an exciting season!

No sign of Jerricho today, btw.

  2. According to reports, 10000 people showed up and from what I’ve read people who went to get autographs from the beginning weren’t able to get them.

  3. While mt.net uses the very latest in weblogging technology, it still relies on 100-year-old photographic technology.

The pics will be posted here as soon as they get back from the developer. 🙂

  4. The pics have been delivered to the processor. Any day now they’ll appear here on markturner.net. Watch this space!
