Last week Rush Limbaugh joined the bee brigade when he mentioned the bogus Einstein bee quote. To his credit, today he admitted to being fooled.
“There’s a line in the story about this mysterious bee disappearance that is attributed to Einstein, says if the bees went away, that humanity would expire in four to five years, that we couldn’t survive without them. And Einstein never said it. It’s one of the these popular myths that circulating. It might be true, but Einstein didn’t say it.”
“But I was totally taken in by it,” Limbaugh said. “Even I, the great El Rushbo was taken in. I apologize for that, too.”
Wow … Rush Limbaugh is capable of occasionally telling the truth!
(By the way, friends, this is the first and last Rush Limbaugh link you’ll ever see on MT.Net.)
dude, why make a statement about never posting a Rush Limbaugh link again? Because you don’t agree with his political views? That doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me…I’ve always thought you were pretty open-minded. Hopefully, you won’t prevent yourself from commenting (and linking) on a relevant story like this one just because you don’t happen to agree politically with someone.
Ok, try this. I do not make it a habit of reading or listening to Rush. If you do, and you think he has something relevant to say, you are welcome to forward that to me. I may decide to post it, I may not. But its my choice. It’s my name at the top of the page, not Rush’s. He doesn’t need the publicity MT.Net can bring him.
didn’t mean to step on toes, dude. Of course you can post whatever you want….my point is why say never again when it could be valid to your blog and any point you have to make, regardless of the source.
No toes stepped on, dude. I just don’t make a habit of checking what Rush is up to.
