The Duke Lacrosse case is done. N.C. Attorney General Roy Cooper dropped all remaining charges against the former Duke students.
No word on whether criminal charges will be filed against the accuser, Crystal Gail Mangum for filing a false police report. She is surely facing a civil suit or two.
Or possibly even an uncivil suit.
Crystal doesn’t have a pot to piss in. The Duke Boys know this and have pretty much said through their lawyers they aren’t going to bother squeezing blood from that stone.
Nifong, on the other hand, can far better afford to be squeezed.
