Yesterday a news reporter called in from the evacuation traffic jam. He said that it took them 4 hours to move just 4 miles. He wondered how many people were going to run out of gas while sitting on the highway.
This also begs the question of why isn’t the traffic moving? Cars are obviously departing on the north end of this mess, so why is everything completely stopped up on the south end? I realize that delays ripple down the road and get amplified, but this is ridiculous.
