If putting together and teaching my Asterisk class on Saturday wasn’t stressful enough, I face a very important week this week.
Monday morning, I spend a few hours talking with a prospective employer. Later that afternoon, I speak with another, this time by phone. Somewhere in between there, I finish up ordering utilities for the new ‘crib.
Tuesday at noon, we sell our house. As I recall, we’ve got it easy, with just a few papers to sign. Our buyer, however, faces the chore of plowing through a mountain of paperwork.
Just when we think we’ve avoided that mountain of paperwork, we get one of our own to plow through. Wednesday, we purchase our new house, and spend a big chunk of the afternoon signing papers. Yay. But at least we get a house in return. Not a bad trade, huh?
Thursday morning, we wait around at our new home for our new refrigerator to be delivered. The rest of the day is spent finishing up whatever packing is left.
Saturday, we move. After that, it’s going to be “now where did I put that … ” for the next few weeks.
Incidentally, there are no guarantees as to when broadband will be active at the new home of MT.Net. Thus, you may go into withdrawl for the few days it takes until we’re online again. We could avoid it completely, too, but I want you to be aware.
Blogging will take a backseat in all this, of course. I’ll drop in when I can. Ciao!
