		<description>I&#039;m troubled that I&#039;ve been having similar feelings. Does this always happen - the campaigning &#039;to the left&#039; and the run &#039;to the center&#039; once they&#039;re named a candidate? Maybe I care more and feel it more keenly this time around.

Historically, though, my impression is that Obama&#039;s more of a consensus-maker than a left-wing trailblazer. I probably shouldn&#039;t be expecting otherwise.</description>
