We’ve been packing boxes in the evenings until our garage was filled to the ceiling with them. Even so, our upcoming move was still not quite tangible until this morning when we got our PODS storage container delivered. Within fifteen minutes, a driver had delivered our container and expertly positioned it on our driveway. It was quite entertaining to watch the whole process.
I’ve spent the day emptying our garage of stacked stuff and moving it into the 16-foot container. I was amazed at how much space was left over, so I proceeded to bring down all the boxes and containers from the attic. I then spent the rest of the day sorting and repacking those boxes.
We should have all of our initial load of belongings in the container by tomorrow evening. PODS will then take it back to their storage center where it will live until we move into our new house.
Its been a busy day, but a huge step forward for our move.
