Are You Southern? Take The Test!
My yankee friend Matt Feath sent this to me. It’s Dick Trickle’s True Test Of Your Southernness. Matt scored 40 out of 71, which (oddly enough) puts him below the Mason-Dixon line. Sadly, I didn’t fare much better, with a measly 48 out of 71. My lack of NASCAR knowledge done come back to bite me.

I’m totally shocked at my score … but, my multiple stays in Pensacola while in the Navy along with a limited knowledge of Bluegrass music helped my score quite a bit … and eating at Waffle House around a hundred times too.

And I’ve lived all but 3 years of my life in North Carolina and Georgia, and my father was born and raised in Tennessee.

See, that’s why I posted it. I’ve seen Southern tests before, but this one is challenging, but also fair.
C’mon, I know someone can do better than I did. Where’s the Hickory Wind when I need him?

i feel like a failure. How is it possible that someone who has lived in the same town in Georgia their entire life, who’s entire family for generations has come from Georgia, doesn’t know this stuff?
